Amazon's latest Kindle refresh isn't chasing specs. It's chasing invisibility. Flush-front displays, featherweight frames, recycled aluminum construction, and a palette that leans warm and café-soft collectively reposition the e-reader as something quieter, more personal, more considered. The additions of page-turn remotes and tactile covers reinforce the intent: this is technology that has learned the art of restraint, stepping back from the reading experience rather than inserting itself into it. Good design, as ever, knows when to get out of the way.
